Syaikh Qasim is a Quran scholar with the certification of Qiraat Al ‘Asyr (10 ways of reciting Quran). His book, Al-Khulud fi ‘Ilmit Tajwid, has been published by Dar Qurthubah, Beirut, in 2017. He is currently teaching Qiraat at King Khalid University, Abha, and Ar-Rajihi College, Qashim, Saudi Arabia.

Many say Dr. K.H. Ahsin Sakho Muhammad, MA is the most prominent scholar in the field of Al-Quran recitation in Indonesia. He has Sanad certification of Qiraat Al-‘Asyr. He spent 12 years in Madina to study the Quran in Jam’iah Al-Islamiyah. In 1977, he studied in the Faculty Kulliyatul-Qur’an wa Dirasah Islamiyyah and earned his doctorate with Yudisium Mumtaz Syaraful ‘Ula (summa cum laude) in 1989. He is also the founder and leader of Pondok Pesantren Dar Al Quran, an Islamic boarding school in Cirebon.

His profound understanding in various fields of Quran – which he learned directly from Syaikh Abdul Fattah Al-Qadhi, the world-leading Quran scholars who write several books on Qiraat, Rasm, Dabt, and Fawasil – has attracted many Islamic institutions in Indonesia. In 2005-2014, he was appointed as rector in Institut Ilmu Al-Qur’an (IIQ) and became the secretary of Lajnah Pentashihan Mushaf Al-Quran Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia and Rais Majelis Ilmi Jami’yatul Qurra Wal Huffazh Nahdlatul Ulama (NU).

Nur Fajri Romadhon is a hafiz with exceptional skill and knowledge expertise in Quran recitation, tafsir, and Islamic law. In 2016, he graduated from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University with the ‘Best Graduate’ award as a recognition for his numerous achievements during his college years. Currently, he is pursuing his master’s degree at King Abdulaziz University, while managing the organization that he co-founded, BISA Learning Center. Recently, he was selected and active as a committee member of the Fatwa Commission of Majelis Ulama Indonesia (Indonesian Islamic Scholars’ Council) Jakarta after has been appointed as a member of Majelis Tarjih & Tajdid of Muhammadiyah in Depok City.

Beside memorizing some mutun (small books as abstracts of particular Islamic sciences) he also has sanads (certifications) of Qiraa-at Al ‘Asyr (all 10 ways of reading Quran) which its shortest chain is 29 persons between him and the beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing upon the prophet, primary books of hadith and other books.

Bagus Ferry Setiawan is a hafiz who graduated from LIPIA. His interest lies in the field of Quran, tafsir, and other ‘Uluum Syar’iyyah. He was a student from the founder of Markaz Alquran Indonesia and is currently serving as Quran teacher at the same institution.

He has numerous experiences in teaching tajweed, as well as speaking for many Quranic events in Indonesia.
